My technique came about throughout 6 years of treating patients with Acupuncture for allergies and sensitivities. I had eagerly attended Dr. Ellen Cutler's classes for 2 years. I used her procedures with great success and was very pleased overall with my results. But as Dr. Cutler had cautioned -
I couldn't help but to re-invent her wheel.

What is Acupuncture and Can it Help Me?
Acupuncture is over 3,000 years old and is used by a large part of the Eastern world. In most cases, very thin, short needles are inserted in specific points of the body. They are inserted just below the surface and are left in a place for a short time. The amount of pain felt is usually less than that of a mosquito bite and dissipated rapidly. You usually feel relaxed and peaceful for the duration of the treatment.

What Can I Expect On MY First Visit?
Oriental Medicine has a very individualistic, complex approach to your health. We will start with your health history and lifestyle. I will ask quite a few questions, sometimes starting with your birth. I will want you to talk openly wand honest with you. You will not be complaining about helping me to help you. Oriental Medicine takes care of the whole person, not just an organ, limb, or symptom.

Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Work!
29 Patients with severe osteoarthritis of the knee, each awaiting arthroplasty surgery, were randomized to receive a course of acupuncture treatment or be placed on a waiting list to receive similar acupuncture treatment starting 9 weeks later. Of the 29 patients, 7 were able to cancel their scheduled surgeries.
